Description |
African Hut Title located on the top of the base. The traditional huts of Africa are known as beehive dwellings, and were made out of mud and wood. The framework consists of a vertical wooden frame in a circular fashion, filled in by mud that is later painted after it has dried. The cone-shaped roofs are covered by thatched grass in layers within the roof's wooden frame. These African Huts were must popularly built by the Zulu in the South African region, and are built in a circular layout to create a community area for all that live in the tribe.
