ASHLEY, Diantha Louiza [SRGP 14125] - Mrs. Diantha A. Purvis, 58, Mainesburg, died Sept. 21, 1957 at the Wellsboro Hospital. Mrs. Purvis was a member of the State Road Baptist Church and very active in all its projects. She was a member of Sullivan Grange and its secretary. Surviving are her husband, Wilmot Purvis at home; two daughters, Mrs. Olin L. Chamberlain, Covington, and Mrs. Richard Cook of Philadelphia; sister, Mrs. Edna Webster of Mainesburg; brother, R. Franklin Ashley of Rochester; four grandchildren. Funeral Service was held at Shaw & Robena Funeral Home Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David J. Griffiths officiating.
