AYERS, Eugene D. [SRGP 37536] Eugene D. Ayers, age 64, of 2419 Emerson Ave., Spring Lake Heights, NY, at his home, Wednesday, October 25, 1972. Funeral services will be held at the Johnson Funeral Home, Rt. 38, Wall Township, NJ at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 27th. Burial in Spring Lake Heights, NJ. Survived by wife, Mrs. Mildred B. Ayers; two daughter, Mrs. George [Jeanette] Latshaw of Wall, NJ, Mrs. Michael [Virginia] Corcoran of New York City; son, Eugene P. Ayers of New York City; brother, Elwyn of Wellsboro, PA; four sisters, Mrs. Steven G. [Dorothy] Kreisler, Mrs. James [Mary] Bennett, both of Elmira, Mrs. Mahlon [Esther] Merk of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ; two grandchildren, Richard and John Latshaw, both of Wall, NJ. Mr. Ayers was born in Rutland, PA; had spent the last 30 years of his life in New Jersey. He was a member of Asbury Lodge, F&AM, Asbury, NJ; Scottish Rite Mason, Valley of Trenton, Crescent Temple Shrine of Trenton, NJ; Past Master of Glendola Grange No.178, member of Operating Engineers No.825; member of Wall United Methodist Church and past President of Wall Methodist Mens Club.
