Navy Served 31 May 1917 - 1 Oct 1919 BOUCHER ARTHUR J [SRGP 40420] Local Restaurant Owner Succumbs – Mr. Arthur J. Boucher, 68, of 176 North Main St., Mansfield, PA, died Friday, May 11, 1962 after an extended illness. Mr. Boucher was born in Chateaugay, NY and came to Covington, PA where he operated the Covington Diner for several years. He later came to Mansfield where he owned an operated the X-Trail Restaurant on West Wellsboro Street for about twenty years. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the American Legion, the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce, the Lions Club and a communicant of Holy Child Church. He was married to the former Miss Evelyn Howe, who survives him. Funeral service was held Monday at the church with burial in Prospect Cemetery. – Mansfield Advertiser, 16 May 1962, p.1 BOUCHER – Arthur J. Boucher, 68, of Mansfield, died Friday, May 11, 1962. He was a World War I veteran and a member of the Holy Child Catholic Church, Mansfield. Survived by wife, Mrs. Evelyn Boucher; sister, Mrs. Dale Melon of Chateaugay, NY. Funeral service was held at the Holy Child Church on Monday at 9:30 AM, the Rev. Martin A. Roche officiating. Military Funeral was held at Prospect Cemetery.
