CHAMBERLAIN - CLIFTON F. CHAMBERLAIN,(SRGP 14789) 89, of Tioga RR 2 died Friday, March 26, 1999, at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro. Born April 19, 1909, in Mainesburg, he was the son of Frank C. and Edith Rumsey Chamberlain. He was a retired farmer and beekeeper. He raised Suffolk sheep and registered Holstein cows. He attended Calvary United Methodist Church, Lawrenceville. Preceding him in death were his first wife, Rose VanEtten Chamberlain in 1965; one grandson, Ronald; and two brothers, Maurice and Hugh. Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Isabelle Adams Chamberlain, two sons, Charles Chamberlain of Tioga and Larry Chamberlain of Newport, NY; one daughter, Patricia Hatch of Sayre; one stepson, Dale Russell of Binghamton, NY; two stepdaughters, Dawn Benjamin of Oneonta, NY and Valerie Hardy of Binghamton, NY; one brother, Lawrence Chamberlain of Sioux City, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Calling hours were held Monday, March 29, at the Wilston Funeral Home, Mansfield. Funeral services were held there Monday, March 29, with the Rev. David Watkins officiating. Burial was made at State Road Cemetery, Mainesburg. Family provided flowers. Memorial donations may be made to the Calvary United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O.
