HAROLD CHAMBERLAIN (SRGP 03671)
Harold Chamberlain, 91, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002, at the Green Home, Wellsboro. Born Nov. 12, 1910, in Mainesburg, he was the son of Albert and Neva Bartlett Chamberlain. He was a member of the Bakersburg Community Church and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening and golfing and was a retired farmer. Preceding him in death were his wife Eloise Smith Chamberlain and one son, Richard Chamberlain. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Herbert Gusitsch of Mansfield, Carol and William Van Orden of Bellefonte; one daughter-in-law, Phyllis Kennedy Chamberlain; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Saturday, July 27 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Scureman Funeral Home, 130 South Main St., Mansfield. Services will immediately follow calling hours at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dave Dressler officiating. Burial will be made in the State Road Cemetery, Mainesburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bakersburg Community Church, Mainesburg, Pa. 16932.
