LYLE H. CLEVELAND Lyle H. Cleveland, 84, of RD 1, Mansfield, died Wednesday, June 4, 1986, in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro. He was born Feb. 14 1902, in Richmond Township, a son of Merton G. and Clara Goodall Cleveland. He was a lifelong member of the Canoe Camp Church of Christ, Disciples. Mr. Cleveland had been a 26-year member of the board of the former Mansfield School District. He was a 70-year member of North Elk Run Grange 913. He also was a former director of the Tioga County Soil Conservation District. Surviving are his wife, the former Marion Davis; three daughters, Dist. Justice Eleanor Trask, Mrs. Margaret Morgan and Mrs. Betty McGraw, and a sister, Mrs. Celia Higley, all of Mansfield; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Saturday at the church. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery. The Rev. Deborah Casey, his pastor, officiated. Memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Fund at the Canoe Camp Church of Christ Disciples. Arrangements by the Scureman Funeral Home at Mansfield. |
