COOK, Evelyn Mary (SRGP 14236) - Evelyn GUARDINO. A memoria service for Evelyn Guardino, sister-in-law of Dorothy Cooke of Troy, PA, was held at the Roseville Baptist Church in Roseville PA on Sunday, March 6, 2000. The Rev. Ivan Mattewson officiated and interment will be private in Roseville Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Barber Funeral Home in Horseheads, NY.

COOKE Evelyn GUARDINO, 97, (SRGP 14236) of Horseheads, NY and formerly of Brooklyn, NY, died on Thursday, March 9 at Bethany Village. Evelyn was a 1921 graduate of Mansfield High school. She was also a registered nurse who resided in the New York City area for many years. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Stephen, in 1968. She is survived by her brother, Rexford (Christine) Cooke of Westfield, Pa; sister-in-law, Dorothy Cooke of Troy, PA; nieces and nephews, Mrs. Gertrude Strunk of Millertown, PA, Jeffrey Cooke of Australia, Frederick and Gregory Cooke, both of South Carolina and James Cooke of Virginia. Services will be held at a future date at the Roseville, PA Baptist Church with the Rev. Ivan Matthewson officiating and interment to be in the Roseville Cemetery.
