Mrs. Lillian J. Issacs CANTON - Mrs. Lillian J. Issacs, of Canton RD 2, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 1991, in Troy Community Hospital. He husband, Philip L. Issacs, died May 9, 1976. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Canton, where she had been a Sunday school teacher. She was a member and secretary of the Minnequa Grange 754 and Lady Canton Rebekah Lodge 362. She was an active Bradford County 4-H leader for 17 years. Born at State Road, Tioga County, she was a daughter of Frank and Effie Hall Corey. Surviving are four daughters, Joyce Boyden, of Covelo, Calif., Phylis Austin, of Canton, Nathalee Darde, of Line Lexington, and Arlene Rolison, of Columbia Cross Roads; five sons, Paul, of Owego, N.Y., Dale of Canton RD 1, Earl, of Campbell, N.Y., Donald, of Durham, N.C., and Gary, of Canton RD 2; a sister, Nellie Root, of Campbell, N.Y.; two brothers, Arthur Corey, of South Hadley, Mass., and Boyd Corey, of Alexandria, Va., 31 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Morse and Kleese's, 40 North Center Street. The Rev. David B. Morris, her pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 7 to 9 p.m. |
