Funeral was at the Shaw & Robena Funeral Home, Mansfield, Tuesday at 2 p.m. Rev. Kermit Clickner officiated. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield. Survived by wife, Mrs. Anna Belle Phelps Davis; daughter, Mrs. Ronald Sick, Jr., Wellsboro, PA; son, Fred C. Davis, Mansfield; three grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Mildred Carpenter, Ossining, NY and Mrs. Lyle Cleveland, Mansfield RD. Mr. Davis was retired after 35 years as a letter carrier; active in the Mansfield Firemen and Ambulance, Assoc., and a member of various sportsmen's organizations. - Mansfield Advertiser, 8 May 1968, p.4
