RONALD G. DAY (1927-2009) [SRGP 83495] Ronald G. Day, 82, of Mansfield, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at the Green Home, Wellsboro. He was born May 8, 1927, in Mansfield, the son of Ralph and Lenora Markowitz Day. Ron was employed by Penelec and Ralph's Service Center. He was a World War II United States Air Force veteran, a member of Friendship Lodge #247 F&AM, a life member of the Lone Camp, Cedar Run and served on the Mansfield Water Authority. Ron is survived by his wife of 58 years, the former, Jane Loveland; two daughters and a son-in-law, Barb and Rich Rosencrans of Montoursville, Judy Case of Stockton, N.J.; a granddaughter, Erin Case of Stockton; a great-granddaughter, Haley Chmill; a sister, Patricia Hodge of Ontario, Calif.; and a brother, Dr. Robert Day of Fallbrook, Calif. Friends are invited to call at the Gary Wilston Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 130 S. Main St., Mansfield, on Sunday, Nov. 15, from 1 to 2 p.m. Friendship Lodge #247 F&AM will conduct services there at 2 p.m., followed by a funeral service with the Rev. Joy Hulslander officiating.
