DOANE, Miss Alice Miss Alice Doane, of Dallas, Pa., formerly of Mansfield, died Sunday Sept. 3, 1972. Funeral service was held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Shaw and Robena Funeral Home, Mansfield. Rev. Richard Brenneman officiated. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery, Mansfield. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Joe Doane, Sr.; nephews, Dr. John Doane, Jr., Dr. Wilton Doane and Dr. Joe Doane III and sister-in-law, Mrs. John (Gertrude) Doane of West Palm Beach, Florida. For many years Miss Doane was on the faculty of Mansfield Normal School, which is now Mansfield State College. She was a member of the Columbian Literary Club and of the Mansfield United Methodist Church. |
