Everett - b. 7 September 1901; d. 8 July 1998; Last Residence - Elmira, Chemung, NY; SSN issued PA [1957-1959] EVERETT, Hazel Estelle [SRGP 55286] - Hazel Estelle Everett, age 96, formerly of 1059 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY, Wednesday, July 8, 1998 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She is survived by 4 nieces, Marian B. Wood with whom she resided here in Elmira, Jeanette Valentine of Lexington, KY, Anita Kiess of Hialeah, FL, Betty and Bill Mosher of Charlotte, NC; 1 nephew, E. Donald and Elva Bradley of Mesa, AZ. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 10150 Penna. Ave., Elmira, NY, Friday, July 10, 1998 from 2-4 p.m. with funeral and committal services to be held there at the conclusion of the calling hours at 4 p.m. The Rev. Cathy Black will officiate. Interment will be held at the family's convenience at the Jackson Center Cemetery, Jackson Center, PA. Hazel was an educator for many years. She attended schools such as Mansfield University [Normal], Penn State University, and also Columbia University in receiving her masters degree in education. She was a member of the First Baptist Church here in Elmira. Member of the Elmira Garden Club and Travel Club. The Fraternal Order of Delta Kappa Gamma and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Hazel was past President of the YMCA board. She also delivered Meals on Wheels. Hazel's family will provide all necessary flower arrangements.
