(Note to High School Reunion Class) Isora Fox Managan- Husband, H. Vaughn Managan died this July, (1966) in Sulphur, Louisiana. There are four sons: Richard F., Robert F., Thomas C., and William V., and one daughter-Ann Kathryn Tittsworth. There are 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A bit of autobiography: "I married Vaughn Managan, a farmer, in 1924. We lived on the Managan farm west of Covington for a number of years. Then bought a farm in the same neighborhood. Later we moved to a farm in Wellsboro and later to Newtown Square, Pa., During this time we had 5 children and believe me, I was busy cooking, washing dishes and keeping a home for 5 lively children,. During their school years, I worked in P.T.A and church. In 1946 we moved to Sulphur, La., where the 3 younger children finished high school. I continued work in P.T.A. and also in the F.F.A Mother's Club in which I served as president for 2 years. As the children married and left home I became interested in Home demonstration Club work. In 1954 I organized the Houston River Home Demonstration club in the area in which I live. I have served this club as president a number of times and in 1959 was named "Woman of the Year" of Calcasiew Parish Home demonstration Council. Since then I have been on the executive board of Calcasiew Home demonstration council for 4 years. Am also a trustee on the Safety Council of Cal-Parish. My hobby is making dresses for my granddaughters. My husband is retired now (summer of 1965) but we still raise Registered Angus cattle and enjoy farm life. We have had some hard knocks but our lives have been full of happiness and I wish the same for all my classmates.
