Her husband, Horace D. [Mike] Runey died in 1986. Mrs. Runey was a well known antique dealer in the Elmira-Penn Yan area for years. She is survived by her daughter, Joan Matthews Cole [Thomas E.] of Potomac, MD and Keuka Lake; her grandchildren, Craig Matthew Cole [Deborah] of Ridgefield, CT, Thomas E. Cole Jr. [Margaret] of Ithaca, NY, Betsy Cole Knighton of Ovid, NY and Andrew J. Cole [Lisa] of Hammondsport, NY; six great-grandchildren, Heather and Jeremy Knighton, Abigail, Ellen and Frances Cole and and Matthew Cole. Survivors also include Mr. Runeys children Dennis [Sarah] of Wolfboro, NH and their three children and Linda [John] Walsh of Nyack, NY and their two daughter and her sister Mae Starner of Horseheads, NY. Arrangements by Fagans Funeral Home are at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in Mrs. Runeys name may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Rochester Chapter, 435 E.
