Surviving are his wife, Evelyn; two sons, Albert Jr., of Mainesburg, and Robert, of Wellsboro; a daughter, Mildred, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Youmans, of Crooked Creek; Mrs. Genevieve Heck of Middlebury Center, and Mrs. Grace Benson, of Falls Church, VA; and a brother, Fred, of Corning, NY. The funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday at Shaw & Robena's. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Tioga. The Rev. Orey Crippen, a retired Baptist minister, officiated. Mr. Gaylord had formerly worked for Billard Machine and Tool Co. for several years. - Mansfield Advertiser, 17 November 1965, p.4 GAYLORD, Albert Leigh - Albert Leigh Gaylord, 50, of Mainesburg, PA, died Wednesday, November 10th at the Frankford Hospital in Philadelphia after a lengthy illness. He was born in Tioga, June 4, 1915, son of Leigh and Carrie Froman Gaylord. Survived by his widow, Evelyn Gaylord, Mainesburg, sons, Albert Jr. of Mainesburg, and Robert of Wellsboro, daughter, Mildred at home; sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Youmans of Crooked Creek, PA, Mrs. Genevieve Heck, Middlebury Center and Mrs. Grace Benson, of Falls Church, VA; brother, Fred Gaylord of Corning. Funeral services were held at Shaw & Robena Funeral Home on Sunday, the Rev. Orey Crippen officiating with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Tioga, PA. - Wellsboro Gazette, 18 November 1965, p.8
