HAGER –DAISY A. (HAGER) FETHERS, 96, Wellsboro, died February 14, 2000, at Broad Acres Nursing Home, Wellsboro. Born August 9, 1903 in Grover, she was the daughter of George and Ruby (Vermilya) Hager. She was a member of the Roseville United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death was her husband, Grant Fethers. Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, George and Dorothy Fethers, Mansfield; granddaughters, Deborah Vail, Williamsport and Linda Betts, Mechanicsburg; seven great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held February 18 from the Scureman Funeral Home, Mansfield, with the Rev. Howard Woodruff, pastor of the Roseville United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Grover Cemetery, Grover. –Canton Independent Sentinel. |
