INA BELLE HAGAR (SRGP 35875) Ina Belle Hagar, 92, of Wellsboro died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001, at Broad Acres Nursing Home, Wellsboro. Born Feb. 3, 1909, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Claude and Jennie (Bly) Hagar. She was employed as a cook for Mansfield State University. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mansfield. She was also a member of the Middle Ridge Grange #989 and the Mansfield 55 Club. She enjoyed handmade crafts and gardening. She possessed a great love for her family. Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother, Fordyce Hagar, in 2000; her sister, Lena Burrows, in 1999; and several other siblings. Surviving are her brother, Claude W. (Esther) Hagar of Montoursville; special sister-in-law, Barbara Hagar; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours were held Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Scureman Funeral Home, Mansfield, with funeral services immediately following with the Rev. Richard Krueger, pastor of the Cherry Flats Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was made at Prospect Cemetery, Mansfield. Memorial donations may be made to the Cherry Flats Baptist Church, RR 1, Box 174, Mansfield, Pa. 16933. |
