HASKINS, Gerald T., Sr. [SRGP 79460] – Gerald T. Haskins, Sr., age 55 of RD#2, Box 24, Sayre, PA, Saturday, July 17, 1993, while on vacation in Parish, NY. Born in Elmira, NY on December 7, 1937, the son of Lee and Anna Rorick Haskins, he was a 1956 graduate of Mansfield High School. He was formerly employed at Harding Brothers in Elmira and then at the Horseheads National Guard – retiring April 30, 1993. He was a member of the Waverly Lions Club and a former member of the New York State National Guard for 37 years. He is survived by his wife, Bettina, at home; daughters, Anita Shellhammer of Rochester, NY and Patricia Haskins of Philadelphia, PA; son, G. Thomas Haskins, Jr. of Oakford, PA; 3 grandsons; father, Lee Haskins of Elmira Heights, NY; brother, Lee H. Haskins of Elmira; sister, Arlene Berg of Texas; several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 24, 1993 at 10:00 a.m. at the Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA. Memorial donations may be made to the Bradford County Unit of the American Cancer Society, 413 S. Main St., Athens, PA 18810.
