HOWE - Mary Howe Milks [SRGP 40415], 88, of Mansfield, died March 27, 1996, at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro. Born Sept. 30, 1907, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Charles and Helen Husted Howe. She was a retired schoolteacher, having taught in Bradford and Limestone, NY for 41 years. Preceding her in death was her husband of 40 years, Allen A. Milks, and a sister, Margaret L. Jupenlaz. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Lee Edney of Horseheads, NY; a sister, Evelyn F. Boucher of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Robert a. Edney of Bethesda, MD, and Mary Lyn Edney of Horseheads. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield. Donations may be made to the Limestone Alumni Association, Limestone, NY 14753-9724 or the Limestone United Methodist Church.
