HUBBARD, Wilda [SRGP 35899] - Wilda "Billie" Aylesworth, 66, wife of retired Air Force Col. Theodore R. Aylesworth, of 95 Decker St., Mansfield, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 1980, in Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro. Born June 23, 1913 at Mansfield she was a daughter of Wilson and Lidah Sparling Hubbard. She was a member of Covington United Methodist Church. Mrs. Aylesworth was graduated from Mansfield State College in 1934 and was a teacher for several years at Charleston and Millerton. She was a member of Knoxville Chapter 328 Order of the Eastern Star, Sebring Grange 1047, Liberty and the Liberty Area Historical Society. Surviving, besides her husband, is a brother, Lawrence Hubbard, of Mansfield. The funeral was held Sunday at the Kuhl Funeral Home, Mansfield. Burial was in Salem St. Paul Cemetery, Liberty. The Rev. Douglas Campbell, a United Methodist minister from Wellsboro, officiated. - Wellsboro Gazette, 9 January 1980, p.12 |
