Kelley, 73, of 556 Rellim Dr., died Sunday at Robinson Memorial Hospital, Ravenna, where he had been a patient two days. Mr. Kelley retired three years ago from the Kent State University Department of Biological Sciences, where he taught 36 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Kent. He leaves his wife, Ruth S.; son, Richard B., Peoria Heights, Ill; daughter, Mrs. Caryl Smith, Lawrence, Kan.; brother, Lester, Hemet, Cal.; sister, Marion Kelley, St. Bernard, O.; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. The body will be cremated. Bissler Funeral Home is handling arrangements. There are no calling hours.
