LaBARR - BUNN, MARY JEANNETTE LaBARR (SRGP 77033)
Mrs. Mary Jeannette Bunn died at the home of her son William, in Barberton, Ohio, Thursday, October 17, following an illness of several months although having shown signs of improvement lately. She had been seriously ill in Mansfield, and upon her recovery went to Barberton to visit her son, and was stricken suddenly. Mrs. Bunn was well known and well liked in Mansfield, where she had spent so many years. She was a genial and kindly soul, and was devoted to her children and grandchildren. This devotion was generously reciprocated by her children, with the result that a rare loyalty and affection was shown in the family. She is survived by three daughters, mrs. A. H. Vosburg, of Mansfield; Mrs. William Vosburg, of Perry, N.Y., and Margaret Bunn, of Mansfield, and two sons, William, of Barberton, Ohio, and Jay, of Mansfield. There are four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Besides these she is survived by two sisters and three brothers, Mrs. S. E. Bailey, of Kalamazoo, Mich.; Mrs. M. Roe, South Bend, Indiana; E. L. LaBarr, of Philadelphia; John LaBarr, of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and Lowell LaBarr, of Decatur, Ill. Mrs. Bunn was born in Westfield township February 15, 1847. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Hornell, N.Y. The funeral was held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. H. Vosburg, in Mansfield, Saturday afternoon at two o’clock. The Reverend D. J. Griffiths, of the Baptist Church officiated, and interment was in the Prospect Cemetery. .(1929)
