LIMBAUGH - Mrs. Lettie Baynes [Leon Baynes], age 81, of Mansfield, died Thursday September 9, 1971. Funeral services were held in the First Baptist Church Sunday at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Benjamin Nevin, officiated. Burial was in the Prospect Cemetery. Surviving are 3 sons, Harold Baynes of Grove City, PA, Dr. John Baynes of Mansfield, and Richard Baynes of Coscob, Conn.; 3 sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Munyon of Clifton, NJ, Mrs. Fred Miller of Jersey shore, Mrs. Albert Ertel of Williamsport; one brother Sponsler Limbaugh of Mayville, NY; seven grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Baynes was a member of the First Baptist Church, a 50-year member of Elizabeth Rebekah Lodge 291 and of the Tyco Ladies Auxiliary 10 and a member of the Austin-Cox Legion Auxiliary. - Wellsboro Gazette, September 23, 1971 |
