LYNCH - Raymond J. Lynch, [SRGP 88266] V.M.D, 95, V.M.D.220 S. Main Street, Mansfield, PA died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 1995, at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro. Dr. Lynch was born June 26, 1900, in Luther's Mills, Burlington Township near Towanda, a son of Patrick and Catherine HOURIHAN Lynch. He attended He attended Luthers Mills High School and graduated from St. Agnes High School. He was salutatorian of the class of 1923 of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia. He was a veterinarian from 1923 to 1939 in the Montrose and Dushore areas. He maintained a veterinary practice in the Mansfield area from 1939 to 1965 and was a veterinarian with the state Pennsylvania from 1965 to 1978 in the Williamsport area. Survivng are his wife, Mary COWLEY Lynch; sons, Robert of Alpharetta, GA, Patrick of Northumberland and Richard of Mansfield; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters Mame and Belle and brothers, Philip, Edward, Dr. Walter and Francis. He was a communicant of Holy child Church, Mansfield. He was a past member of the Armenia Debating Society, past president of the Corey Creek Golf Club, Hamilton Club, Kiwanis Club, Knights of Columbus, a charter member of the Lions club, Pigeon Creek Hunting Club, Wheel end Club and several veterinary medical associations. Friends are invited to call at the Scureman Funeral Home, Inc., Mansfield, on Friday, Dec. 22, 1995 from 7 to 9 p.m. during which time a vigil service will be held at 8:30 p.m. AMass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Child Catholic Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.
