Notes	Find a Grave Christine McClure = 26143 Mansfield Advertiser, PA, 30 June 1948, Wednesday, p.7 B. Christine McClure and Thomas E. Boughton Wed The marriage of Miss B. Christine McClure, 307 W. Chemung Pl., Elmira, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William McClure, of Rutland and Thomas E. Boughton, son of Mrs. Gladys E. Boughton and the late Thomas Boughton, of Troy, was solemnized June 25, 1948, at 7:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, East Smithfield, by the Rev. Orey E. Crippen with a double ring ceremony. The church was beautifully decorated with basket of gladioli and snapdragon. The bride wore a white suit, white halo hat and white matching accessories and a white orchid corsage. Mrs. L.R. Palmer, Jr., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a pink suit with white accessories and wore a corsage of gardenias and pink rosebuds. Britton Bixby, of Lock Haven, was best man. Mrs. McClure, mother of the bride, wore an aqua suit with white accessories. Mrs. Boughton, mother of the bridegroom, wore a pink sheer dress with white accessories. Both wore double gardenia corsages. The bride is a graduate of the Mansfield Senior High School and attended the Elmira Business Institute. She is now employed in the office of Hardinge Bros., Inc. Mr. Boughton is a graduate of the Troy High School and attended Mansfield State Teachers College. At present he is a student at the Ohio College of Chiropody at Cleveland, Ohio. Following a wedding trip the couple will reside at 57 South Main Street, Elmira until September, at which time they will return to Cleveland, where Mr. Boughton will enter his Sophomore year. B.
