C. WILLARD ODELL C. Willard Odell, 81, of Elcor Nursing Facility, formerly of Tioga, died Friday, April 25, 1997. Born June 24, 1915, in Tioga, he was the son of Verne B. and Lulu Adamy Odell. He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Force. He also worked as a gourmet chef in Hartford, Conn., and Long Island, NY. Preceding him in death were two brothers, Harold A. Odell and Malcolm J. Odell; and a sister, Lelah Mercer. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Robert N. and Joan O'Dell of Horseheads, NY; a sister-in-law, Dorothy T. Odell of Savannah, Ga.; three nieces, Lucinda O. Bealin of N. Caldwell, NJ, Colleen Thompkins of East Syracuse, and Kelly Forsyth of Erin; several grand-nieces. Graveside funeral services were held Monday, April 28, at Woodlawn National Cemetery, with the Rev. Jeffrey Bell officiating. |
