Notes	PEFFER, Maxine - Maxine Wilcox, age 84, of Covington, PA, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Country Terrace, Wellsboro, PA. She was born March 4, 1932 in Bratton Twp., Mifflin County, PA, a daughter of Lloyd and Dolly (Diehl) Peffer. Maxine celebrated 65 years of marriage on October 22, 2015 with her husband, Alfred W. Wilcox, Jr. She was a homemaker and Secretary/Tax Collector for Covington Township. Maxine was a member of the Covington Church of Christ, enjoyed spending time with her family, doing upholstery, sewing, and flower gardens. Maxine is survived by her husband, Alfred; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, George and Brenda Wilcox of Millville, PA, Samie Wilcox of Covington, PA; 5 grandchildren, Samantha (Jerry Ogden) Wilcox, Daniel (Stefania) Wilcox, Christie (Paul) Blackwell, Kasey (Joshua) Mastellar, Trisha Wilcox; 2 great grandchildren, Karah and Carly Blackwell; a brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Donna Peffer of Mainesburg, PA; a sister, Alice Gohn of TN. She was predeceased by a son, Arthur Lloyd Wilcox in Sept. 1986; daughter-in-law, Christine Wilcox and several brothers and sisters. A private graveside service will be held with Rev. Michele Somerville officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Country Terrace Activities Fund, 1919 Shumway Hill Rd., Wellsboro, PA 16901 or a Local Chapter of the American Cancer Society. Burial will be in Frost Settlement Cemetery. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield is assisting the family. - Mansfield Gazette, March 23, 2016
