MRS IDA B. AUSTIN
Mansfield, March 18- Mrs Ida B. Austin, wife of Alvin Austin died early last Thursday morning at her home in this borough. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Levi Robbins of Sullivan. She was born August 25,1864, in Sullivan township. On July 14,1887 she was married to Alvin B Austin of Mainesburg. Six children were born; two of them, Leah and Lillian having died in infancy. Mrs Austin spent most of her life in Sullivan until three years ago, when the family moved to Mansfield. Soon after she came to Mansfield her health began to fail, and she has been confined to her bed part of the time since. She was a member of the State Road Baptist church. Besides her husband, she is survived by her father, Levi Robbins, 95 yrs . of age, two daughters, Mrs Jessie Sheasby of Rochester, and Daisy at home; two sons Ward Austin Mansfield and Alvin at home. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home and was largely attended. The Rev. Celia B. Miner of the Wesleyan Methodist Church at West-field, officiated, assisted by Rev. D.J. Griffith of Mansfield. Pallbearers were: Otis Cook Dr.H.C. Harkness, Percy Coles, Dr.J.H. Doane, Mort Crippen and Fred Reynolds. Interment was in the family plot at Mainesburg.
