Rumsey, born October 24th, 1928, passed away on August 1st, 2014. James was an Army veteran and retired as a Lt. Det. from the Bradley Beach Police Department. He was predeceased by his wife Elsie Mae [Gilbert] Rumsey, and is survived by his sons Walter, Joseph, and Frank, their wives Elizabeth, Andrea, and Loretta, and his grandchildren Samantha, Michelle, Alexandrea, James, Desiree, Paige, and Amanda. The viewing will be held at the Franconi, Taylor, and Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th and Atkins Ave., Neptune NJ. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday August 5. The funeral Service will be at 9:30 Wednesday, August 6, followed by internment at the Glendola Cemetery in Wall Twp., NJ. - Published in Asbury Park Press on Aug. 4, 2014
