Notes	SHAW, MISS MARTHA E. (SRGP 12912) Age 78, of Normandy Farms Estates, Blue Bell, PA, Monday, June 20, 1988 at the Suburban General Hospital, Norristown, PA. Funeral Services will be expected Friday, June 24 at 2pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Mansfield. The Rev. Deborah Casey, Pastor of the Canoe Camp United Church of Christ officiating. Interment State Road Cemetery, Mainesburg. Friends and relatives will be received at the church from noon until time of services on Friday. She is survived by 3 brothers, John H. of Rd #3 Milton, PA, Llewellyn B. of Rd #3 Tunkhannock, PA, Edson R. of Rd #3 Mansfield, PA; sister Mrs. Esther F. Errer of Rd #2 Mansfield, PA. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers. She was a retired school teacher, retiring in 1973 after 35 years of teaching in public schools, at Nelson, PA, The Charleston Schools in Wellsboro, Dover, DE, Girard College in Philadelphia, and The Swarthmore Elementary School. She graduated from Mansfield High School in 1926, received her Bachelor's Degree from the Mansfield State Teachers College, and her Masters Degree from the University of Pennsylvania and had attended Penn State University. She was a member of the Ambler Presbyterian Church, life member of the PSEA, the NEA and the National Audobon Society. She had been librarian at the Normandy Farm Estates. She was born in Richmond Township, Tioga County, May 12, 1910. The daughter of the late John H. and Leda Knapp Shaw. Arrangements by the Shaw Funeral Home, Milton, PA. Of note from Burial Permit, middle name listed as Eliza, died of Cardiac Arrest.
