SHAW Robert B. Shaw (SRGP 06558) 94, of Mansfield, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Feb. 29, 1916, in Mansfield, the son of Earl and Daisy Brace Shaw. Bob was a retired police officer at Mansfield University and he also retired from First Citizens National Bank. He had served on the Mansfield Borough Council, was a life member of the Mansfield Firemen's Ambulance Association, a member of the Arnot Sportsman's Club and the Dad's of Foreign Service Veterans Post 264. Bob is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Deanne and Jerald Rumsey of Mansfield, Paula and Arthur Bush of Greenwood, S.C.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gary Shaw of Mansfield, Paul and Connie Shaw of Mansfield; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Paulie Shaw of Dallas, Texas, Earl Jr. and Margaret Shaw of Damascus, Md., Bryon and Barbara Shaw of Painted Post, N.Y., Harold and Elaine Shaw of Mansfield, Gayle and Barbara Shaw of Elmira, N.Y.; a sister, Marilyn Lee of Bolivar, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Pauline Clark Shaw in January 1987; a daughter, Joan Bixby in August 2010; two brothers, Daryl and Leland Shaw; and four sisters, his twin sister, Roberta Vaughn, Leree Coates, Virginia Erway, and Alice Scott. Friends are invited to call at the Gary Wilston Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 130 S. Main St., Mansfield, Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will follow there Wednesday at 6 p.m. with his son-in-law, Arthur Bush officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield.
