Shaw, 94, of Mansfield, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014, at home. He was born Feb. 16, 1920, in Mansfield, the son of Walter and Edna Lewis Shaw. Seymour is a United States Army retiree with 22 years of service. He also retired from Westinghouse, was a United States Postal Service substitute carrier and worked at Chamberlain Bus Service. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mansfield and American Legion Post 0945. Seymour is survived by his wife of 49 years, the former Marie Draxler; three daughters, Karen Burris of Covington, Maureen Shaw of Bloomsburg, Jennifer Kinsey of Mainesburg; two sons, John Shaw of Madison, Ala., Michael Shaw of Forksville; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Gertrude Finch Shaw and sisters, Laura Tooker and Ada Vallet. Friends are invited to call at the Gary Wilston Funeral Home & Cremation Service 130 S. Main St. Mansfield, on Friday, March 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 8, at 11 a.m., at the Mainesburg United Methodist Church with the Rev. William Vallet and the Rev. Michelle Bodle officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Seymour's memory may be made to the Mainesburg United Methodist Church, 100 Smith Park Road, Mainesburg, Pa. 16932, the First United Methodist Church of Mansfield, 67 E.
