Notes	WHITE Eleanor S. Age 96, of Rock Stream, NY, died Monday, March 27, 2006, at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility, Montour Falls, NY. Friends may call from 3-6 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 30, at the Rock Stream Presbyterian Church, Old Lake Road, Rock Stream, with Rev. Lucinda O´Leary, Rev. Marion Massecar and Rev. Judy White officiating. Burial will follow in Lakemont Cemetery, Lakemont, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rock Stream Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 786, Rock Stream, NY 14878. Eleanor was born May 13, 1909 in Sullivan Township, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Ross H. and Jennie Watson Smith. On January 1, 1934 in Elmira, she married the late Herbert J. White; he passed away on July 20, 1993. They moved to Rock Stream that same year to own and operate their own dairy farm, which they sold in 1969. Mrs. White was a very active member and Deacon of the Rock Stream Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Rock Stream Ladies Aid & Missionary Society. She is loved and will be dearly missed by three sons, Norman J. (Doris) White of Kennewick, WA, Edwin F. (Rev. Judy) White of Horseheads, David L. (Sandy) White of Hickory, NC; twin daughters, Fay W. (Thomas) McIlroy of Elmira, and Kay E. (John) Shepard of Rock Stream; a sister, Claribel (Karl) Margeson of West Chester, PA; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Leaman Smith in 2000; and a randdaughter, Carolyn Marshall in 2001.
