SQUIRES, Maxwell B. [SRGP 14785] - Maxwell B. Squires, 67, of 25 Wellsboro Street, Mansfield died Friday, April 4, 1975 in Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, after a lengthy illness. He was born June 30, 1907, in Sullivan Township, a son of Bert and Ida Smith Squires. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mr. Squires was a retired ~~acker. A Veteran of World War II he was a member of the American Legion Post, Mansfield. He also was a member of the Mansfield Odd Fellows Lodge. Surviving are a stepson, Scott Donaldson of Pine City, NY; a sister, Miss Josephine Squires of Mansfield; and two step-grandchildren. The funeral was held Monday at the Kuhl Funeral Home. Burial was in Gray Cemetery Sullivan Township. The Rev. Benjamin E. Nevin, his pastor, officiated. - Wellsboro Gazette, April 10, 1975, p.20 |
