Notes	SWINGLE - STRANGE, Aliene Swingle (SRGP 35587) 85, formerly of Mansfield, PA, died February 20, 2009, at the Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. She was born October 4, 1923 in Canton, PA, the daughter of Richard and Marion Cott Swingle. Aliene retired from teaching school in Pine City, NY, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mansfield, PA. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Rochelle Strange of Mansfield, PA; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Marcus and Anita Strange of Blossburg, PA, Dr. Joseph and Randi Strange of Fredericksburg, VA; 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell, on June 21, 1992; her parents; her stepfather, William Allinger; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sarah Swingle; a sister and brother-in-law, Theora and William Sullivan. Friends are invited to call at the Gary Wilston Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 130 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA, Monday from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow there Monday at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Dennis Crumb officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield, PA. Memorial contributions in Aliene's memory may be made to the Mansfield Ambulance Assoc., 381 S. Main St., Mansfield, or the Mansfield Free Public Library, 71 N. Main St., Mansfield, PA 16933.
