Press & Sun-Bulletin, Binghamton, NY, 17 October 1965, Sunday, p.19 Jane Taylor Married to Idris H. Morgan The Revs. William M. McElwain and James C. Leeper, Jr. performed a double-ring ceremony yesterday to wed Miss Jane Taylor, 28 Shelby Street, Johnson City, and Idris H. Morgan. The ceremony took place in the First Presbyterian Church in Mansfield, PA. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Ralph S. Taylor of Mansfield, and the late Mr. Taylor. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. William Morgan, 20 Martin Avenue, Johnson City, and the late Mrs. Morgan. Given in marriage by her brother, John C. Taylor, the bride wore a formal gown of creamy silk and worsted brocade enhanced by a double- breasted jacket which featured a wide lapel collar. A circle crown and bow of matching brocade held in place her veil of illusion. Mrs. John A. Arikian, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a floor-length gown of gold and honey satin. The fitted bodice was high-lighted by a scoop neckline and Dior length sleeves. Herbert J. Kunkle was the best man. Ushers were H. Donald Williams and John A. Arikian, brother-in-law of the bride. Immediately after the ceremony was a reception in Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church. After a one-week honeymoon at Williamsburg and Virginia Beach, VA, the couple will make their home at 20 Martin Avenue, Johnson City. |
