WEBSTER, Donald C. Age 95, of Mansfield, PA, died Friday, March 14, 2008, at Broad Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. Donald was born December 11, 1912 in Sullivan Twp., PA, a son of Clinton M. and Margaret Ellen (Magee) Webster. He was the husband of Mary J. (Button) (Jones) Webster. Donald retired from Westinghouse in Horseheads, NY, in 1977, and had worked as a farmer for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, time shares, bowling and walking. Donald is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward (Shirley) Webster of Mansfield, PA, Ronald (Twyla) Webster of Nampa, Idaho; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia (Mark) Stager of Mansfield, PA, Kathleen (Donald) Albright of Newville, PA, Debra (Douglas) Steadman of Knoxville, PA; three stepsons, Richard (Esther) Jones of Vero, FL, Raymond (Kathy) Jones and Garry (Debra) Jones, all of CT; three stepdaughters, Betty Haslund of Elkland, PA, Sharon (Jerry) Fisher of Middletown, PA, Mary Jane (Richard) Smith of Forksville, PA; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 25 step grandchildren, 25 step great-grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by a stepson, Donald Jones in 1984; a sister, Margaret Ellen Smith; and a stepson-in-law, Edward Haslund. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday immediately following the viewing at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Steven Case officiating. The family will provide the flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Sherwood St., Mansfield, PA 16933. Burial will be in Tioga County Memorial Gardens, Charleston Twp., Mansfield, PA. 1940 census - Farmers on farm |
