WEST, Stuart L. [SRGP 89740] - Stuart L. West, 76, of Mansfield RR 1 and Daytona Beach, Fla., died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1993, at the Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Fla. Born March 3, 1917, in Wellsboro, he was the son of Orrin and Matty Davis West. He was a successful business man and had owned automobile dealerships in Mansfield, Covington and Wysox, and ran an auto auction in Danville. He had owned and operated West's Deluxe Motel until 1968, and was on the advisory board of the Commonwealth Bank in Mansfield until his retirement. He was a member of Friendship Lodge #247 F&AM, Mansfield, Williamsport Consistory and Iram Temple, Wilkes-Barre. Preceding him in death was his brother, Ronald D. West. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Sara Clark West; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Paulette of Fairbanks, Alaska, Thomas and Diana of Daytona Beach and Linda West of Ozark, Ark.; two daughter and sons-in-law, Barbara and Gary LeBlanc of Mansfield and Marjorie and Robert Berguson of Ruston, La.; one brother, Foster West of Wellsboro; one sister, Mary Maconi of Guilford, Conn.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends called at the Scureman Funeral Home, Mansfield, on Monday, Nov. 22, where the Masonic Lodge held a service. Service were held there Tuesday, Nov. 23, with the Rev. Eugene Charsky officiating. Burial was made at Middlebury Union Cemetery, Kenneyville. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 228 S.
