World War One Memorial on Strait's Hardware wall. Originally established by the Austin-Cox American Legion Post, this memorial commemorates local people who served in World War One. It also includes people who were in the M.S.N.S. Student Army Training Corp (S.A.T.C.) even though they were not necessarily of local origin. The display has been refurbished twice since. It is on the south wall of the Allen Block which housed Strait's Hardware at the time it was established.
