1837 Writing Desk of Sarah Morris A Wedding Gift from the her sisters-in-law, Philadelphia Given to Sarah Morris as a wedding gift by her sisters-in-law in 1837 Philadelphia. Resided in the Wren's Nest in Mansfield PA until 2002. Owned by great great grandson Al Walker in Mansfield PA until 2013. Donated to History Center by his wife and siblings after his death. Letter in the drawer traces the line of ownership. It is the wish of the family that this remain in Mansfield. |
