[SRGP 32897] - The Rev. Harry B. Kelley, 70, Route 6, died Friday in the Veterans Administration Hospital at Fayetteville, Ark. A native of Pennsylvania, he was a superintendent of schools for many years in that state before moving to Springfield in 1947. He was a minister in the Calhoun and Drake churches of the Sedalia Methodist district when he became ill about May 1. He retired at the recent church conference a Fayette. Survivors are his wife, Una H.; and a sister, Miss Lena Kelley, Elmira, NY. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Klingner Chapel with the Rev. Ross Fulton and Dr. Ermil B. Frye officiating. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri. - Springfield Leader & Press, Springfield, Missouri, 25 June 1961, Sunday, p.55 |
