KELLY, LEO J. - Leo J. Kelly, 54, of Hornell NY., died Sunday, September 30, 1945, following an illness of several months. A son of William H. And Magaret Kerwan Kelly, he was born at Mansfield and spent his early life here. For many years he has been employed by the Erie Railroad Co., the past 25 years at Hornell. He served with the engineers in France during World War I. March 30, 1921, he married Miss Angelo Basso, of Susquehannah, who survives him. Besides his wife he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Margaret R. Kelly, of Mansfield; sisters, Mrs James Kelley, Watkins Glenn, NY.,Mrs. Elizabeth Woods, Elmira; Mrs. Earl Mudge, Patterson, NJ., and Mrs. Marion Korb, Mansfield; brothers, Hugh Kelly, Endicott NY., William Fairlawn, N.J., Stuart, Elmira, and Harold and Francis, of Mansfield. Funeral Services were held today at 9:30 at St Ann’s Church, Hornell, of which he was a member. Burial was in Susquehanna. |
