KELLY, WILLIAM L. - William L. Kelly Dies in Connecticut -William L. Kelly, 57, former resident of Mansfield died unexpectedly Oct. 23, 1950, at Greenwich, Conn., where he had gone on a business trip for the Erie Railroad Company for which he had been an official for many years. Born at Lambs Creek, he was the son of the late William H. And Margaret Kelly. He began his career on the Tioga Division and was promoted progressively to Foreman, Supervisor, and finally to General Roadmaster of the Erie Railroad system between New York and Buffalo. He held the latter position for the past sixteen years, residing in Fairlawn, NJ., with offices in Jersey City. He was a veteran of World War I, serving with the 315th Infantry. Funeral Services were held from St Therese Church at Patterson NJ, Burial in the St John's Cemetery, Susquehanna, Pa. Surviving are his wife, the former Dora O'Connell, of Susquehanna, four brothers Hugh, Harold and Francis, of Mansfield; Staurt of Elmira; four sisters, Mrs. Louis Kelley , of Corning; Mrs.Elizabeth Woods of Elmira; Mrs Regina Mudge, of Ridgewood, NJ., and Mrs. Marion Korb of Mansfield.
