Twain Theater named for owners Harry Taylor and Hack Swain - combined names. Had Mr. Swain's Children's Band, music store in building that ws later X-Trail and is now Black Swan next to Cooper's (formerly hardware) on W. Wellsboro st. , etc. Ran off with first grade teacher leaving wife (Rachel Matthews) and children behind.

Harry Swain sold his interest in the Twain Theater to Harry Taylor November 1939. He said that the Swain's Music Store took all of his time.
