Description |
Built 1883/84 as the Welch Block by Gilbert Welch. He ran a general store in the building and later rented to R. W. and M. Rose, suceeded by Preston. Spencer Photography was in one of the side offices on Center Street, succeeded by Blenis in 1886 and McFarlin. The bulding burned in 1996. On the later Sanborn Maps, this is No. 27 on south, and No. 29 on north. |
